LOS ANGELES, Jan 19: Rising country star Karley Scott Collins is addressing rumors that she and Keith Urban are romantically involved.
On Sunday, the 26-year-old singer, who opened for Urban, 58, on his 2025 High and Alive World Tour, responded to speculation suggesting she and the “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer are in a relationship and living together.
While reposting a screenshot of an article with the headline, “Keith Urban moved in with Karley Scott Collins? Fresh speculation amid divorce,” Collins wrote on her Instagram Stories, “yall, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue.”
PEOPLE reached out to representatives for both Urban and Collins for comment, but did not receive an immediate response.
Rumors surrounding Urban and Collins emerged just weeks after Urban’s divorce from Nicole Kidman was finalized, ending their 19-year marriage.
In a settlement agreement obtained by PEOPLE, filed on Jan. 6, the couple agreed to waive all child and spousal support rights for their daughters, Faith, 15, and Sunday, 17. Each parent is also responsible for their own legal fees and expenses.
While Kidman’s home will serve as the daughters’ primary residence, the parenting plan states that both parents are required to “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”
"They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent," the agreement adds. "They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families."
Back in September, a source told PEOPLE that, once Urban “quietly set up his own place” and moved out before their split, the couple’s “lives were moving in different directions.”
“It felt like the writing was on the wall,” the source said, while another added, “It really hasn’t been a secret in their circles that Keith and Nicole have been living separately for a while now. People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable.”
Other sources indicated that Kidman initially tried “to save the marriage.” The actress later opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about the wisdom she’s gained and how she’s navigated difficult times.
"As I get older, I want to be able to share and impart the things I’ve learned," Kidman told the outlet. "I’ve seen a lot, I’ve experienced a lot, and I’ve survived a lot. I want to pass on some of that knowledge and that wisdom and whatever I’ve learned."
"There’s something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through," she continued. "You’re going to have to feel it. You’re not going to be able to numb it. You are going to have to feel it, and it's going to feel insurmountable at times. You’re going to feel like you’re broken, but if you move gently and slowly — and it can take an enormous amount of time — it does pass."
