KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: The Rising Riders Cup Show Jumping Championship, organized by the Police Sports Federation, concluded successfully at the Federation Arena in Subhan, drawing wide participation from riders representing all local clubs.

Rising star of Sahari Club and the national team, Anaz Al-Anaz, was crowned champion after delivering an outstanding performance in the main event. The championship unfolded in a vibrant and competitive atmosphere, with strong contests across the beginner, intermediate, and advanced categories, while a large crowd filled the stands from morning until the end of the day.

In the featured 130 cm round, Al-Anaz secured first place with a time of 34.01 seconds, finishing ahead of Saleh Al-Tabtabaei, Abdulaziz Al-Ajeel, Britain’s Nick Channing, Yousef Al-Nuaimi, and Alaa Al-Sultan.

Meanwhile, Abrar Al-Musallam claimed top honors in the 120 cm class, and Sujo Babi emerged victorious in the 110 cm event.

The beginner rounds, featuring obstacle heights ranging from 50 to 100 cm, also saw strong participation, with most riders successfully clearing the courses without faults.

The championship served as an important preparatory event ahead of a major international sporting fixture set for the coming weekend, as the Federation Arena in Subhan gears up to host its first international show jumping championship, with riders from Kuwait as well as several Arab, Gulf, and European nations competing from January 28 to 31.
