KUWAIT CITY, March 1: The Human Rights Committee of the National Assembly met Wednesday to discuss the situation of religious freedoms in the State of Kuwait and the situation of religious minorities, whether citizens or expatriates, reports Al-Qabas daily.

During the meeting, the committee discussed the challenges facing religious minorities in practicing their religious beliefs and rituals, as well as the efforts and policies of the State of Kuwait in the field of promoting freedom of belief. The committee invited Daniel Nadel, director of the International Religious Freedom Bureau at the US State Department, to attend the meeting.
