KUWAIT CITY, May 6: The fourth round of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation League will kick off at 3:00 pm on Friday and continue until Saturday evening at the Police Sports Federation arena in Sulaibikhat, with fierce competition expected among a large field of male and female riders vying for top honors. The event is held under the patronage of the Police Sports Federation, Hawalli Sports and Equestrian Club, and KGL Company.
Kuwait Equestrian Federation Secretary-General and Kuwait Olympic Committee member Ghazi Al-Jirawi highlighted the depth of talent in Kuwaiti equestrian sport, noting that riders across all age groups—from beginners to advanced levels—are showing strong development. He said local clubs feature some promising riders who have achieved impressive results both locally and internationally, with several tipped for bright futures.
The competition will feature five rounds on the opening day, with obstacle heights set at 90, 105, 115, 125, and 135 cm. Action resumes on Saturday with rounds at 70, 100, 110, 120, and 130 cm, before concluding with the Grand Prix at a height of 140 cm.
The event will be overseen by international judge Nidar Al-Mustafa as chief referee, along with Raghad Al-Dabbous, Lama Abdulal, and Ibtisam Al-Araori. The course design will be handled by Yaqoub Al-Nasserallah, with assistance from Abdulaziz Al-Mutawa, Dr. Yahya Al-Hadban, and Bader Al-Hifi. At the same time, Asmaa Malallah will serve as field judge.
