Revenge, says Arab man arrested for trying to rape his Sister-in-law

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Police have taken into custody an Arab man for attempting to rape his sister- in-law in Khaitan, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily quoting a police source said according to the victim’s testimony, someone knocked on the door and when answered, she saw a woman wearing a niqab. Even before she could ask a question, the woman in niqab forced her way in and attacked her.
It was obvious the person in niqab wanted to rape her because the person made an attempt to remove her clothes.
She fought off the intruder and when she managed to pull off the niqab, she was shocked to see her brother-in-law disguised as woman. She raised an alarm and the intruder fled.
She then called the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry and police went to the house, they found her in a pathetic condition.
When the brother-in-law was arrested, he admitted to the charge and said he did it at the request of his brother (the woman’s husband) who wanted to teach her a lesson for being rude.
A case of attempted rape has been filed against the suspect. The woman’s husband has been summoned for interrogation.

Officers disciplined: Acting Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Mahmoud Al-Dosari has referred a first lieutenant and a 2nd lieutenant working for the Criminal Investigations Department to disciplinary action for taking pictures of a woman who was allegedly murdered by her husband in Salwa recently, and posting it on a website which has broadcast it as a scoop, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily did not give more details
Wrong surgery: When a young actress went to the Salmiya Police Station to file a complaint against a cosmetic clinic because she did not get the desired results, she was referred to a specialist doctor at the Criminal Evidences Department for medical examination, reports Al-Shahed daily. The complainant said the material used in the surgery of her lips and cheeks was of bad quality as a result of which she got swelling.
