KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: This year, the highly anticipated Red Bull Car Park Drift Championship is making its triumphant return to Kuwait, offering motorsport enthusiasts an electrifying experience. Over two action-packed days, participating drivers will have the chance to showcase their skills in a fiercely competitive environment, marking the highlight of this exceptional sporting event. The competition includes qualifying rounds leading to a national final.

Hosted at Kuwait Motor Sports City, the public event reaches its climax on Friday, February 2nd, commencing at 7:00 pm.Drift drivers will navigate a challenging circuit, demonstrating their prowess in overcoming obstacles. Their performance will be meticulously evaluated based on nine criteria and obstacles, with a total of 400 points up for grabs.

Drift skills account for a maximum of 120 points, while flippers and pendulum obstacles offer potential scores of up to 60 and 50 points, respectively.Precision is paramount, as any mistakes may incur penalties in the form of point deductions. Drivers must steer clear of collisions with defining obstacles, avoid heading in the wrong direction, and maintain control of their vehicles. Accumulating three penalties in a single round results in automatic disqualification.

After a three-year hiatus, the region's largest drift championship returns to Kuwait, presented in collaboration with Red Bull Mobile from Zain, Abdul Mohsen Abdulaziz Al-Babtain Company (the exclusive agent for Nissan cars in Kuwait), Aqua Eva, and Kuwait Motor Sports City. The event promises the presence of notable figures in the realms of racing, drifting shows, and motorcycles.
