Residents Warned of Possible Blast Sounds During Army Disposal Activity on Jun 2

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 1: The General Staff of the Army has announced that an inspection and disposal team from the Land Force Engineering Unit will carry out operations to handle remnants of shrapnel and explosives in the northern part of the country on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.

The operation is scheduled to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Authorities stated that any explosion sounds heard during this period are expected to be part of controlled disposal activities involving unexploded ordnance and debris removal.
