KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Kuwait's Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has removed the residential addresses of 325 individuals from its records after homeowners declared they no longer resided at the listed properties or because the buildings had been demolished.
In a notice published in the latest issue of the official gazette, Kuwait Alyoum, PACI called on those affected to update their residential information by visiting the authority or completing the process through the Sahel application after submitting the required supporting documents.
The authority said the address update must be completed within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice.
PACI warned that individuals who fail to update their housing data within the specified period will face penalties under Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982 concerning the Civil Information System. The law provides for a fine of up to KD 100, with the amount multiplied according to the number of persons covered by the violation.
The authority urged affected residents to complete the required procedures promptly to avoid penalties and ensure their civil records remain up to date.
