Residency violators, reckless drivers caught in crackdown

KUWAIT CITY, April 18: Traffic officers arrested 30 individuals for violating the Residency and Labor laws, some of whom are subject to arrest warrants and absconding notices. A security source told the newspaper that officers from the General Traffic Department in the Ministry of Interior, who were deployed in various governorates, apprehended 30 individuals for committing violations and they were referred to the relevant authorities. In addition, traffic police conducted traffic campaigns in the governorates, during which they arrested four motorists and referred them to the Traffic Police Station. A security source revealed that the four motorists were apprehended for reckless driving within 24 hours. The source indicated that the ongoing traffic and security campaigns are aimed at apprehending those who violate traffic regulations and other laws of the country.
