Reports of Blasts and Air Defense Activity Emerge Across Multiple Iranian Cities

TEHRAN, Jun 3: Eyewitness reports and local accounts from multiple Iranian cities described a series of explosions and air defense activity on Wednesday night, according to information shared with Iran International.

Residents in Tehran reported consecutive air defense sounds in eastern districts, along with a loud explosion around 8:45 p.m. in the Hakimiyeh area. Additional blasts were later reported around 10 p.m. in District 14, while unusual sounds were also heard in the Narmak neighborhood.

Similar reports of air defense activity and explosions emerged from other cities, including Karaj, Bojnourd, Robat Karim, and Urmia in northwestern Iran. Locals in Bojnourd said explosions were heard near the airport, while residents in Robat Karim, southwest of Tehran, reported limited anti-aircraft fire alongside loud blasts.

The reports have not yet been independently verified by official Iranian authorities.
