KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25: The General Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior has warned against repeating certain traffic violations, such as non-compliance with overtaking regulations and deliberately obstructing traffic flow on public roads. The department indicated that the repetition of these two violations could lead to the referral of offenders to court.

It stated that the settlement fee for violating Article 36, which pertains to deliberately obstructing traffic flow on public roads, is KD 20, while the settlement fee for violating Article 37, which relates to violating overtaking regulations, is KD 15. It also confirmed that vehicles may be impounded for up to two months, in accordance with Article 207 of the executive regulations of the Traffic Law.
