Renewal of residence expired at the beginning of 2020 after paying fines

KUWAIT CITY, May 15: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh issued a ministerial decision stating residence of expats whose residency ended on 1/1/2020 and want to renew residency in the country can do so by paying fines without being referring to the investigation authorities.

According to the decision, companies have the right to renew residency permits of employees registered with them even if they are outside the country after paying the fines despite of their residence has expired since the beginning of the year due to circumstances beyond their control.
