KUWAIT CITY, March 20: A large number of citizens and expats visited cemeteries across Kuwait this morning to pay respects to their loved ones and pray for mercy and forgiveness.

Following the Eid al-Fitr prayers, many people gathered at gravesites, reciting verses from the Holy Quran and offering prayers for the deceased. Visitors emphasized that the act of visiting graves is both a spiritual reflection on life and the hereafter, and a way to honor relatives who shared in their joys and sorrows during their lifetime.

For many, visiting cemeteries has become an integral part of the Eid celebration, combining remembrance, reflection, and religious devotion.
