KUWAIT CITY, April 2: Artiste Faisal , saw that reducing the number of dramas this season despite the success they achieved last season is natural so that attention is paid to quality, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The daily added, this will help an artiste to concentrate on one work and will make an artiste more aware of the embodiment of his personality.

Satellite
Al-Omairi explained that the satellite channels that deal with Gulf dramas are still few, but that encoded the ones that contribute in one way or another present good dramas.

Al-Omairi pointed out that the Egyptian drama developed rapidly for many reasons, including that cinema took a back seat after the January revolution and the big stars were interested in participating in TV drama, so impressive Egyptian works came out that made the Arab street rethink about the drama and wondered why the movie stars were attracted to the drama world, noting that the series ‘Hot Wave’, affected the industry both from the art and intellectual point of view.

Artiste Fatma Al-Tabbakh finished filming educational and voluntary scenes about the new coronavirus, directed by Ali Al-Arada, who has relied on “dubbing” and imaginary, self-talk in some situations, in addition to silent art, replicating international artistes Charlie Chaplin and Mr Bean, reports Al-Rai daily.
“The Flashes” idea, scenario and dialogue is by Fatma Al-Tabbakh, who also presented some scenes, alongside actors Abdel Mohsen Al- Qaffas and Abdel Mohsen Al-Mutawa. It addressed several ideas, targeting some cases and consequences following the ‘Corona’ crisis in Kuwait, including the exaggeration in buying and storing food commodities, “despite the continuous assurances from the concerned authorities that the strategic stock of food is in a safe position.”

Idea
Artiste Fatma Al-Tabbakh told Al-Rai that the first idea appeared at the beginning of the crisis, which prompted her to evoke the character “Kawthar” from the heritage series “No Music in Ahmadi”, a character that people liked a lot during the month of Ramadan last year She added, “But I relied on body language, as I tried to show the other side of my personality, which is the voluntary side to serve Kuwait in light of some thorny issues of the repercussions of the (Corona) crisis, like other countries around the world.”

Perform
Artiste Khaled Amin is one of the artistes who is keen to perform his societal role in this critical period following the outbreak of the new Corona pandemic, reports Al-Anba daily. Khaled is a member of one of the voluntary committees involved in distributing food to the needy.

Amin told the daily, that the team members gather every morning at the committee’s headquarters and collect food either from the company responsible for the project or donated by people and then take the food in their individual cars to the needy families. He said what he is doing reminds him of the brutal invasion in 1990, and how the youth of Kuwait gathered in one place and set a wonderful example of solidarity and sacrifice, pointing out that the committee and all the participants work within the permitted time before the curfew period, from morning until 4:00 pm.
