KUWAIT CITY, Dec 24: Kuwait is set to host the Red Bull Car Park Drift 2026, returning bigger and more exciting than ever. The Kuwait Motor Sports City will serve as the stage for the region’s largest drift competition, featuring an upgraded format that challenges drivers and delivers a thrilling experience for fans.

The action begins at 12:00 p.m. on January 8 with qualifying rounds, during which drivers will be evaluated using the standard scoring system. The top 16 drivers will advance to the final, with the winner securing a spot in the global final, also scheduled to take place in Kuwait in 2026.

The track promises a true test of skill, as drivers navigate multiple obstacles and execute precise maneuvers. The local final, scheduled for 6:00 PM on January 9, will consist of two rounds, with the top score used to determine the top four qualifiers.

Points and penalties will be calculated through the new electronic judging platform, DriftPoint.net, where each 90-second run is assessed by two judges. Competitors may also use a spotter for guidance. The penalty system has been updated to align with international standards, and drivers can earn 20 bonus points for performing an additional 360-degree spin.

Partners Nissan and Castrol will add extra excitement to the track, while Aqua Eva ensures the audience stays refreshed.
