Horse named ‘Ojab’ for Nayef Al-Rashidi broke the previous record of the Hunting and Equestrian Club Cup opening as it recorded 7:32:1 minutes, breaking the record previously set by horse ‘Burj Al-Kuwait’ from Borousli stable by a difference of 0:42:1 minutes.

In second place was ‘Al-Jawwad’ belonging to Muhammad Al-Fuleij and in the third place was ‘Yar’eb’.

The race took place Sunday in the presence of Head of Hunting and Equestrian Club Sheikh Dhari Al-Fahad and members of the club, during which the cup was awarded to Nayef Al-Rashidi for winning the first competition of the new season.

In other horse races, the horse ‘Ez Nayef’ belonging to children of Nayef Al-Dabous won the 1,200-meter race in the fourth course which is for first class horses, followed by ‘de Gaulle’from Al-Oseimi stable in second place and in third place was ‘Nasrawi’ which is also from Al-Oseimi stable.

Last year’s season champion, Al-Nishama stable grasped the third course of the 1,200-meter race with the win of horse ‘Oumnia’. In second place was ‘Mahoul’ from the same stable and ‘Qudaam’ from Al-Fuleij stable took the third position.

In 1,000-meter race, the horse ‘Kabbas’ from Al-Ansari stable won the second course, followed by ‘Al-Ashousi’ from Al-Nishama stable in second place, and in the third place was ‘Maestro’ from Al-Oseimi stable.
