Reckless Driver Arrested in Saad Al-Abdullah; Car Sent to Crusher

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: The General Traffic Department has arrested a motorist for reckless driving and damaging state property in the Saad Al-Abdullah area.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the arrest followed a complaint submitted through the dedicated traffic complaints WhatsApp number, accompanied by a video documenting the incident.

A patrol from the Security Control Department was immediately dispatched to the location, where officers apprehended the driver and seized the vehicle near the scene. An inspection confirmed that state property had been damaged as a result of the reckless driving.

Legal procedures were initiated against the suspect, who was transferred to the Central Prison, while the vehicle was impounded and sent to the crusher, the ministry said.

The Ministry of Interior urged the public to report traffic violations by sending videos through WhatsApp to 99324092, saying the reports would help authorities respond quickly and apprehend offenders.
