MADRID, July 30: Real Madrid has reached a historic financial milestone after generating record revenues of $1.3 billion during the latest season, excluding income from player transfers, according to Spanish newspaper AS following a recent club board meeting, chaired by Florentino Pérez.
The report revealed that the club’s revenue increased by 3.1% compared with the previous year, surpassing $1.296 billion for the first time — a record figure unmatched by any sports organization. The growth was largely driven by the club’s directly managed commercial activities, with stadium-related revenues rising by 11% and marketing income increasing by 6%, helped by renewed sponsorship deals and new commercial partnerships.
Real Madrid also confirmed that its overall revenues have grown by 61% over the past seven years, during which stadium income has doubled. The club recorded operating earnings before depreciation and amortization of $310.4 million, representing an 18% increase from the previous financial year.
After taxes, the Spanish giants posted a net profit of $28.4 million, maintaining an impressive streak of 26 consecutive seasons with positive financial results and reinforcing their position as one of the world’s most financially successful sports institutions.
