LOS ANGELES, Feb 1: Rapper Snoop Dogg is publicly supporting his daughter, Cori Broadus, following the death of her 10-month-old daughter, Codi Dreaux.

Cori, 26, announced the tragic news on Saturday, Jan. 31, via her Instagram Stories, writing, “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi ????,” alongside a black-and-white photo of herself holding her baby.

Snoop Dogg, 54, shared a family photo on Instagram featuring himself, Cori, and his sons, Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28, adding a simple caption with heart and prayer emojis: “????????????.” Cordell also paid tribute on his Instagram Stories, writing, “Lil sis, we got you forever,” while sharing the family photo.

Codi, Cori’s first child, was born prematurely at six months in February 2025 after Cori developed HELLP syndrome—a pregnancy complication involving Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelets. The infant spent 10 months in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) before coming home in early January. Cori shared an Instagram post on Jan. 6, saying, “She’s home. ???? Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all. ????️✨.”

Cori’s fiancé, Wayne Deuce, also shared a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories following Codi’s death: “I been the saddest since u left me, Codi Dreaux. But I know u at peace. Daddy will always love you,” alongside a photo of him holding their daughter.

Codi’s birth marked the continuation of a close-knit family legacy. Cori, the youngest daughter of Snoop Dogg, had revealed her pregnancy in December 2024. The premature birth and extended NICU stay were a significant challenge for the family, who have publicly shared their gratitude for the support and prayers received from fans and loved ones.
