MUMBAI, India, Dec 25: Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt delighted fans by making their first public appearance with their one-year-old daughter, Raha Kapoor, at the Kapoor family's Christmas brunch. The couple, Ranbir at 41 and Alia at 30 posed for paparazzi, with Raha donning an adorable white and pink frock with a reindeer motif and red shoes. Ranbir lovingly carried Raha in his arms while Alia stood by their side. The couple expressed gratitude to the media for the warm wishes on Raha's "paparazzi debut."

Alia, who had previously expressed concerns about privacy for their daughter, clarified, "I don't want it to seem like I am hiding my daughter. I am proud of her... But we are new parents. We don't know how we feel about her face splashed all over the internet."

In February, Alia confronted the paparazzi for "invading her privacy" and capturing images inside her house without consent. The couple's approach to protecting their child's privacy aligns with the ongoing debate surrounding celebrity children and the media's intrusion, notably with stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan being more open while others, like Rani Mukerji and Anushka Sharma, advocate for restraint.

Ranbir, fresh from the success of "Animal," and Alia, honored with the National Film Award for "Gangubai Kathiawadi," tied the knot in April after meeting on the sets of "Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva."
