KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30: The Kuwaiti Meteorological Department confirmed that the country will continue to be affected by the extension of the seasonal depression, accompanied by a humid air mass, coinciding with a deep depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which leads to the proliferation of low, medium and sometimes convective clouds with sporadic rains and a noticeable decrease in horizontal visibility due to fog. The weather forecast monitor in the administration, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this depression will gradually weaken by the end of Thursday, and the chances of rain will decrease with it.

Al-Qarawi indicated that the Thursday weather is cold and partly cloudy to cloudy, and the winds change direction to southeasterly, light to moderate, sometimes active, with speeds ranging between 08 and 40 kilometers per hour, with continued chances of rain and low horizontal visibility due to fog, and this situation continues at night with the formation of winds variable direction to northwest, light to moderate, speed ranging between 08 and 35 kilometers per hour. He pointed out that the expected maximum temperatures are between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the state of the sea is light to moderate with waves and a height of between 1 and 5 feet, while the minimum temperature ranges between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius, and the state of the sea is light to moderate, waves and heights between 1 and 4 feet.

He added that the weather expected for Friday is cold and partly cloudy, and the winds are north to northeast, light to moderate, with speeds between 08 and 30 kilometers per hour, and this condition will continue at night, with speeds ranging between 08 and 28 kilometers per hour. He stated that the expected maximum temperatures range between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius, and the state of the sea is light to moderate, and the wave height is between 1 and 4 feet. The daytime weather on Saturday is expected to be cold and partly cloudy, with northeasterly to fl uctuating winds, light to moderate, with speeds between 06 and 26 kilometers per hour, and the condition will continue to be cold at night, with southeasterly light to moderate winds, active at intervals ranging from 15 and 40 kilometers per hour, with a chance of scattered rain that may be thundery at times, with a decrease in horizontal visibility due to fog. He stated that the expected maximum temperatures are between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius, the state of the sea is moderate to high, and the waves rise between 3 and 6 feet, and the minimum expected ranges between 13 and 15 degrees Celsius, and the state of the sea is light to moderate, and the waves sometimes rise between 2 and 6 feet.
