Railway tender closing date extended by one month

KUWAIT CITY, April 25: The Central Agency for Public Tenders announced the extension of the deadline for closing the tender for the study and design works and preparation of documents for the railway tender project, reports Al-Jarida daily. The first stage of the tender has been extended for a month for the companies bidding for the tender.

The CAPT has asked the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport to set a date for a preliminary meeting with the companies bidding for the tender. The CAPT has also called on the PART to provide it with the amending annexure to tender No. 2.

In a separate context, the central agency announced the opening of bids envelopes for the management, operation, maintenance and implementation of Kabd station expansion and complementary works. It has 5 bidders, according to what is recorded in the price list. The agency referred the documents of those bids to the Ministry of Works to study them and make the necessary recommendations in this regard within 30 days.
