Raid on garages and workshops net 64 expats violating visa law in Jleeb

KUWAIT CITY, July 9: In a collaborative effort, the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigations, along with the Joint Tripartite Committee Department, the Public Authority for Manpower, Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, and the Environment Public Authority, successfully apprehended 64 expats of various nationalities for violating the Residence and Work Law.

This achievement was made possible through an inspection campaign targeting unlicensed garages and workshops in the Jleeb area. The relevant authorities issued violation reports based on their respective jurisdictions and took immediate action by cutting off the electricity supply to the offending properties.
