KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: In a vibrant display of patriotism and community spirit, Radio Kuwait Urdu Service organized a special live transmission to commemorate Kuwait’s 65th National Day and 35th Liberation Day. The event was followed by a ceremonial cake-cutting to mark the occasion.
The live program featured prominent content creators from the community who shared heritage-inspired experiences, reinforcing the values of unity, pride, and belonging. The special National Day and Liberation Day transmission celebrated Kuwait’s independence and liberation in a colorful and enthusiastic manner.
The entire RK FM team, along with the guests, wore traditional Kuwaiti attire to honor the national spirit. Influencers including Tooba, Huda, Shabnam, Aisha, Zarak, Osama, Saad, Ahmed, Maaz, and Ahmed Abu Bakr participated in the broadcast, sharing their personal journeys with the audience. Additionally, live callers joined the program through calls and messages to convey their greetings to the Government and people of Kuwait on this auspicious occasion.
The transmission was hosted by Radio Kuwait Urdu Service Coordinator In-Charge Nida Mirza and Razia Ashraf leading the show. Sheila Martis managed the live callers, while Anees Backer handled sound engineering. Live media coverage was provided by Irfan Shafiq and Sulman Khan.
The whole program was conducted under the supervision of Shejoun Al Marshoud, Supervisor of Programs, Foreign Services.
The program concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, commemorating the celebrations of National and Liberation Day. Radio Kuwait extends warm wishes to all on this joyous occasion.
