The Amir of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani discussed in Doha on Monday with President of UAE Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nehyan means of boosting cooperation between Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Both leaders also tackled the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, Qatar’s News agency (QNA) reported today.

This came during an official discussions meeting that took place at the Amiri Diwan in Doha, on the sidelines of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed official visit to Qatar, with his delegation including UAE National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al-Nehyan, and UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al-Nehyah, and a number of state officials. The talks tackled the bilateral brotherly deep-rooted ties between both nations, and means to boost them in various fields, as well as a number of current issues of common interest.

Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani congratulated UAE on the occasion of the anniversary of their 51st national day, while Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al-Nehyan congratulated Qatar over the extraordinary successful hosting of World Cup Football 2022 international championship. (KUNA)
