DOHA, Mar 13: During a special Interview with His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) – Chairman of the Civil Defence Council, on Qatar TV, he stated that the country’s security situation remains stable, crediting the efforts of security forces and defense units operating across the nation.
Officials said the measures are being implemented under the directives of Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of Qatar, emphasizing that the safety of everyone residing in the country remains a top priority.
A central component of the state’s security framework is the Central Operations Room, which operates around the clock using advanced monitoring, analysis, and information-sharing systems to track developments and coordinate responses.
Authorities said the operations room has processed more than 5,000 reports, including over 600 reports related to falling shrapnel in different areas of the country.
Officials added that integrated systems linking multiple government entities help accelerate decision-making and strengthen rapid response to any developments.
They emphasized that Qatar continues to operate through unified national strategies across state institutions, with preparedness plans aimed at ensuring the highest levels of readiness and safeguarding public security.
