Qatar Intercepts Iranian Missile as Second Strikes Al Udeid Base

DOHA, Mar 4: The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that the State of Qatar was targeted by two ballistic missiles launched from Iran.

In an official statement, the Ministry said Qatar’s air defense systems successfully intercepted one of the missiles, while the second struck Al Udeid Air Base. Authorities confirmed that the incident resulted in no casualties.

The Ministry stressed that the Qatari Armed Forces possess the necessary capabilities and resources to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, underscoring their full readiness to respond firmly to any external threat.

It also called on citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, follow instructions issued by security authorities, and refrain from spreading rumors, urging the public to rely solely on official statements as credible sources of information.
