DOHA, Mar 9: The Qatar Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that the State of Qatar was targeted by 17 ballistic missiles and six drones launched from the Iran.
In a statement, the ministry said the Qatar Armed Forces successfully intercepted and destroyed all incoming missiles and drones, confirming that no casualties were reported as a result of the attack.
Officials added that the armed forces remain fully capable of safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and are continuing to monitor developments closely while maintaining a high level of defensive readiness.
