Qatar Intercepts 10 Drones, Two Cruise Missiles in Early Morning Attack

DOHA, Mar 4: The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that early Wednesday morning the State of Qatar was targeted in an aerial assault involving 10 drones and two cruise missiles launched from Iran, amid rising regional tensions and ongoing conflict in the Gulf. According to the ministry, Qatar’s air defence forces intercepted six of the drones, while Qatar’s air force successfully neutralised two additional drones and both cruise missiles, and naval units intercepted the remaining drones before they could impact Qatari territory.
