DOHA / ABU DHABI, Jun 6: Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have strongly condemned recent Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, describing them as serious violations of sovereignty and breaches of international law.
In a statement, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the attacks “flagrant violations” and urged all parties to avoid further escalation, stressing the need to protect regional and international peace and stability.
The UAE Foreign Ministry also denounced what it described as “terrorist attacks” involving missiles and drones against Bahrain, calling them a direct threat to the country’s security and territorial integrity. Abu Dhabi reaffirmed its full solidarity with Bahrain and said it supports all measures taken to safeguard its stability and security.
Both Gulf states emphasized the importance of de-escalation and renewed diplomatic efforts to prevent further deterioration of regional tensions.
