JEDDAH, Mar 30: Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Jeddah on Monday, where he was received by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, as regional tensions continue to rise amid the US-Israel-Iran conflict and ongoing ceasefire efforts between Washington and Tehran. The visit highlights growing Gulf coordination on security, political, and economic challenges, with Qatar continuing its role as a key regional mediator.
Separately, Jordan’s King Abdullah II also arrived in Jeddah and was received by the Saudi Crown Prince. His visit comes amid intensified diplomatic activity across the Middle East aimed at de-escalating regional tensions, strengthening bilateral relations, and exploring enhanced cooperation between Amman and Riyadh.
