DOHA, March 11: Qatar Airways announced a limited flight schedule to and from Doha following the temporary closure of Qatari airspace. The airline said it is working to support affected passengers and help them reunite with family and loved ones, emphasizing that operations will fully resume only once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority confirms the safe reopening of the country’s airspace.

Under temporary authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority, Qatar Airways will operate select point-to-point flights in the coming days to assist stranded passengers. These flights do not indicate a full resumption of regular commercial services. Eligible passengers for these flights will be contacted directly by the airline.

Passengers are advised not to arrive at airports without a confirmed ticket. Those with bookings between February 28 and March 22, 2026, may request two complimentary date changes (up to 14 days from the original date) or a refund of unused tickets.

The airline stressed that passenger and crew safety remains the highest priority and thanked travelers for their patience amid disruptions caused by circumstances beyond its control. Passengers can access the latest flight updates, booking modifications, and FAQs via the Qatar Airways website and app.
