DOHA, Feb 28: Qatar Airways has confirmed the continued temporary suspension of its flights to and from Doha due to the closure of Qatari airspace.

In a statement, the airline said it is coordinating closely with relevant government bodies and competent authorities to resume normal operations immediately once the airspace is reopened.

The carrier noted that flight schedules are expected to face delays upon the resumption of services. Passengers have been urged to check the latest updates through the airline’s official website or the Qatar Airways mobile application.

At Hamad International Airport, additional airport staff have been deployed to assist travelers affected by the disruption. The airline said it is making all necessary arrangements and exerting every effort to minimize inconvenience caused by the emergency situation.

Qatar Airways emphasized that the safety of its passengers and employees remains its top priority.

Travelers have been given the option to refund or change their bookings within the next seven days. The airline said further updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
