DOHA, Apr 27: Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of daily flights to Bahrain and Kozhikode starting May 1, as part of its ongoing phased restoration of global operations.
The move follows the airline’s earlier reinstatement of daily services to Dubai and Sharjah from April 23, along with the planned return of flights to Damascus on May 1. The expansion is aimed at strengthening connectivity across the Middle East and international destinations.
The airline said the gradual rebuilding of its network will enhance passenger access to key markets across six continents, offering greater flexibility for travelers.
Qatar Airways also advised passengers to regularly check its website or mobile app for updates and ensure their contact details are up to date.
Passengers holding tickets issued by April 30, 2026, for travel between February 28 and September 15, 2026, will be eligible for complimentary date changes until October 31, subject to availability, or refunds in line with fare conditions. Those affected by flight disruptions will be offered additional fee-free changes or full refunds without penalty.
The airline noted that schedules remain subject to change due to operational, regulatory, or safety considerations.
