Al-Haqqan to miss Qadsia’s matches through injury.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: Qadsia will enter a closed training camp tomorrow evening as it intensifies preparations for the AFC Challenge League, with the club set to host Group C matches from October 17 to 23.

The group features India’s Goa, Bangladesh’s Fortis, and Tajikistan’s Regar-TadAZ.

The Yellow Castle will launch its campaign against Fortis next Saturday, face Regar-TadAZ on October 20, and wrap up the group stage against Goa on October 23.

Qadsia, however, suffered a setback ahead of the tournament, with centre-back Yousif Al-Haqqan ruled out after picking up an injury in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Tadamon in the fourth round of the Zain Premier League.

Medical tests revealed a tear in Al-Haqqan’s groin muscle, with the defender expected to be sidelined for around three weeks before returning to action.
