KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Qadsia began the resumed 2025-2026 Volleyball Premier League campaign impressively, sweeping past Al-Arabi 3-0 in the opening round at the Volleyball Association Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex.

Kazma also enjoyed a convincing start, defeating Sulaibikhat by the same scoreline to strengthen its early position in the race for the title.

Qadsia moved to the top of the standings with three points, ahead of Kazma on set difference. Al-Arabi and Sulaibikhat remained without points, while defending champion Kuwait did not feature in the opening round.

The second round continues on Monday with two matches. Kuwait launches its campaign against Al-Arabi at 5:00 pm, seeking a winning start following the league’s resumption, while Al-Arabi aims to recover from its opening defeat.
