KUWAIT CITY, Dec 27: Qadsia aims to bounce back when they face Qurain at 7:30 PM today in the ninth round of the league. Earlier, Al-Nasr meets Al-Sahel at 5:00 PM. Both matches take place at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex.

Kuwait Club tops the standings with 16 points from 8 wins. Qadsia and Kazma follow with 14 points each, Qurain has 13, and Al-Sulaibikhat, Al-Nasr, Al-Sahel, and Al-Arabi fill out the table.

Qadsia looks to avenge their first-round 85-93 defeat to Qurain and secure an early playoff spot under Turkish coach Andiyak Baysir. Key players include Abdulaziz Al-Humaidi, Abdulmohsen Al-Mousawi, Abdullah Tawfiq, plus Americans Jomaro Brown and Brandon Garrett.

Qurain, led by local coach Yahya Kleib, has been impressive this season. They’ll rely on American Robinson Love, Adel Al-Saeed, and Musaed Al-Otaibi to repeat their earlier win over Qadsia.
