Public Works Ministry on high alert for weather updates

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Dr. Noura Al-Mishaan, took charge yesterday evening, Saturday, as she joined the operations room to oversee the latest updates on the weather conditions and the ministry’s preparedness measures. Ahmed Saad Al-Saleh, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works, conveyed that the ministry, along with its pertinent authorities and emergency response teams, remains vigilant in monitoring the ongoing weather situation across the country. Al-Saleh emphasized that teams have been strategically positioned at critical sites while conducting routine field inspections in residential areas to promptly address any rainwater accumulation.

Al-Saleh offered guidance to motorists, advising them to exercise caution when navigating roads during inclement weather, adhere to directives issued by the Ministry of Interior, and rely on official sources for updates on weather forecasts. He encouraged the public to stay informed through updates from the Meteorological Department of Civil Aviation. Finally, Al-Saleh concluded with a prayer for beneficial rainfall in the State of Kuwait.
