Public urged to avoid Naval Forces exercise zone for safety

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 3: The Kuwaiti Army's Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate announced Sunday that the Naval Forces will carry out live ammunition exercises on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 5 and 6.

The drills will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the designated Naval Shooting Range, located 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julai’a and extending to Qaruh Island, and 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour, extending to Umm Al-Maradem Island.

In its statement, the directorate urged all citizens and residents to avoid the area during the scheduled time to ensure public safety.
