Public Authority for Housing Welfare to ‘terminate’ contract of 33 expats

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) to terminate the services and contracts of 33 non-Kuwaiti employees with effect from November 27, reports Al-Rai daily.
This step was taken based on the implementation of the replacement (Kuwaitization) policy on government jobs, as well as apply the recommendations of the State Minister for Housing Affairs and State Minister for Services Affairs Dr Jinan Boushahri.
Director General of PAHW Eng Bader Al-Waqyan issued a decision to state that the termination of these employees’ contracts were based on the work interest.
