‘Protect your eyesight’ during solar eclipse

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 24: Director of Ophthalmology at the Ministry of Health Dr. Ahmad Al- Foudari warned on Monday that looking at the sun during solar eclipse could lead to eyesight damage or blindness. This came in a statement for KUNA, in which he warned from staring at the sun for long as this phenomenon begins on Tuesday at 13:20:30 P.M., reaches its peak at 14:35:34 P.M., ends at 15:44:13 and the eclipse would reach a percentage of 53.4 percent.
