KUWAIT CITY, Dec 29: As the New Year approaches, several ambassadors extended their warmest greetings and best wishes to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people, wishing Kuwait continued progress and prosperity.
Ambassador of Tajikistan Zubaydullo Zubaydov extended his sincere greetings and best wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, wishing them good health and well-being, as well as to the people of Kuwait – its leadership, government, and people – lasting security, stability, progress, and prosperity. In a press statement, Zubaydov affirmed that relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait are deep-rooted and strong, based on mutual respect and understanding.
He pointed out the remarkable developments these relations have witnessed in the political, economic and developmental fields, thanks to the shared commitment of both countries’ leadership to strengthen cooperation and expand the horizons of bilateral partnership. He commended Kuwait’s comprehensive development and reform process, which has encompassed various sectors, emphasizing that these achievements reflect His Highness the Amir’s forward-looking and insightful vision, and his unwavering commitment to consolidate the foundations of a modern State and promote sustainable development, which benefits Kuwaiti citizens and enhances Kuwait’s regional and international standing.
He affirmed that Kuwait holds a distinguished position in Tajikistan, in recognition of its prominent humanitarian and developmental role, as well as its efforts at the regional and international levels in supporting stability and development. He emphasized that this role reflects a consistent approach to supporting joint action and serving humanitarian causes. He said the coming period holds promising opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the areas of investment, sustainable development, and cultural exchange, which will contribute to deepening the historical and humanitarian ties that bind the two friendly peoples and serve the common interests of both nations. He confirmed Tajikistan’s aspiration to continue coordination and consultation with Kuwait during the new year and to work towards developing bilateral relations towards broader horizons, thereby strengthening the strategic partnership and consolidating the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador of the Russian Federation Vladimir Zheltov stated, “I am confident that the historic partnership between Russia and Kuwait will continue its path towards further strengthening and development in the new year. We will also continue, in cooperation with our Kuwaiti partners, our efforts to elevate our bilateral relations to broader horizons, in a way that serves the common interests of our two friendly countries. I am certain that the State of Kuwait will enter a new phase of development and prosperity in 2026 under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad.”
Ambassador of the Central African Republic Marzouk Issan Daniel praised Kuwait’s pioneering role in supporting stability and humanitarian work, emphasizing that Kuwait enjoys great respect and appreciation in Africa for its sincere humanitarian and development initiatives. He added that his country looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Kuwait in the developmental, economic, and humanitarian fields, noting that the Kuwaiti leadership is a model of wisdom and quiet diplomacy based on peace and effective partnership. Turkish Ambassador Tuba Sönmez affirmed the depth and strength of the bilateral relations between Turkiye and Kuwait, indicating that last year marked a significant milestone in the course of cooperation between the two countries at various levels
