‘Pro-India’ banners in Islamabad, Pakistan?

Some Pakistani and Indian TV channels on 6th Aug went into debates over what they called anti-Pakistan banners seen hanging in Islamabad on 5th Aug night.

The report came hours after India abolished special status for Indian Kashmir, evoking article 370.

It was a Tweet from Indian news agency ANI and was taken as anti-Pakistan and pro-India.

A number of senior journalists and social media users questioned the capability of local administration of the federal capital which remained unaware of the the banners being put up in the city.

What people failed to notice was a wrongly placed message on top of the banner that read “Akhand Bharat, Real Terror” which carried.

The anti-India message was misunderstood by majority of people.
