KUWAIT, May 16:The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health said that it addressed all private pharmacies to provide preventive masks and sell them to citizens and residents, stressing compliance with its pricing decisions, provided that the mask price does not exceed 150 fils.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Drug and Food Control Affairs at the Ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Badr, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this comes in line with the decision of the Minister of Health, Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah, to compel all citizens and residents of the State of Kuwait to cover the nose and mouth while they are in public places.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Health was mandated by the Council of Ministers to circulate to private pharmacies of the necessity of providing preventive masks for sale to citizens and residents, pointing out that there will be continuous follow-up to ensure compliance with the pricing (KUNA)
