This incident adds to a growing trend of actors falling victim to Deepfake videos. Recently, a viral video showcased actress Kajol undergoing clothing changes through manipulated content. Another instance involved ‘Animal’ star Rashmika Mandanna, whose Deepfake video stirred controversy, prompting discussions on privacy and ethical concerns related to artificial intelligence. The manipulated clip depicted a woman, donned in a black yoga bodysuit with Mandanna’s face morphed onto hers, entering an elevator while smiling for the camera.

Joining the list of affected celebrities, Katrina Kaif also faced the consequences of Deepfake technology, with an AI-generated image from the ‘Tiger 3’ towel fight scene surfacing on social media in an inappropriate portrayal. These instances raise pertinent questions about the misuse of AI and the potential threats it poses to privacy and ethical standards within the entertainment industry.
