KUWAIT CITY: Subsidies Committee chaired by Undersecretary at the Ministry of Finance Khalifa Hamada has retained the current prices of three energy products for March, reports Al-Rai daily. The committee decided to keep the prices of Benzene, Diesel and Kerosene for February without making any changes in that regard, indicating the price of 110 fils per liter of Benzene was retained with Super (85 fils per liter), Premium (105 fils per liter), and Ultra (165 fils per liter) as determined by Cabinet last October.A reliable source was quoted as saying KPC recommended the subsidies committee to increase the price of Diesel and Kerosene next month to 120 fils per liter but the latter rejected the idea to avoid a possible inflation.
