KUWAIT CITY, Mar 14: Inspection teams from the Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry carried out field inspection campaigns across commercial establishments in the governorates of Farwaniya Governorate and Ahmadi Governorate, resulting in dozens of violations being recorded.
According to the ministry, the inspections issued 36 violation reports for various infractions. The most notable violations included failing to comply with official price-fixing decisions for food items, selling goods above the approved prices, and not displaying prices clearly.
Authorities also cited businesses for violations related to promotional offers, failure to issue invoices, and not specifying the country of origin for products.
In addition, inspectors recorded a violation for operating commercial activities that did not match the business license granted.
The ministry said the inspection campaigns are part of ongoing efforts to monitor markets, protect consumers, and ensure businesses comply with commercial regulations.
