KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: In a bid to uphold the respect and preservation of the Kuwaiti national flag, recognized as the identity and symbol of the state, the authorities have taken significant measures.
An emergency number, 112, has been allocated for reporting any instances of flags in a dilapidated state. Citizens are also encouraged to photograph such flags and send the images via WhatsApp to 91110999. This initiative ensures swift action can be taken to address any issues concerning the flag's condition.
Government Commitment to Flag Maintenance
Following the esteemed Council of Ministers' decision, all government institutions and ministries are mandated to ensure the proper quality and display of the Kuwaiti flag. This measure underscores the importance of maintaining the flag's dignity.
Reporting Procedure
If you come across a flag that is damaged or improperly displayed, you can report it by calling 112 or sending a photograph to 91110999 via WhatsApp. This applies to flags on both government and private buildings, as well as those displayed on roads.
