UNITED STATES, California, Jan 16, (Agencies): A 9-year-old Indian-American schoolgirl, Preesha Chakraborty, has earned a spot on the "world's brightest students" list compiled by the renowned Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth. Preesha, currently a Grade 3 student in Fremont, California, was recognized among over 16,000 students from more than 90 countries after excelling in above-grade-level tests, according to the Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth. Indian Americans have a reputation for academic excellence, often demonstrated in various educational competitions, including the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
