KUWAIT CITY, Nov 6: Police are investigating a false alarm after what was reported as a lifeless body in the parking area of a clinic in Kuwait’s Al-Ayoun district was revealed to be an elaborate hoax.

Security sources stated that authorities received an emergency call reporting a body in the basement parking lot of the Al-Ayoun clinic. Patrol units and a forensic team were dispatched immediately. Upon inspection, forensic experts determined that the “body” was a constructed model made of assorted paper and plastic materials, coated with red paint, and wrapped in a cloth bag to resemble a deceased person.

The report has been classified as intentionally false, triggering an official investigation to identify both the creator of the fake body and the individual who made the misleading call. Fingerprints collected from the model and the surrounding area are currently under examination.

Authorities warned that submitting false reports not only wastes critical resources but also hinders emergency operations, reiterating that no one is above the law.
